Sky Connect TRACKER is the world's first seamless global flight
tracking system providing polar-to-polar coverage. Greatly improved

with Sky Connect TRACKER. Each TRACKER-equipped aircraft transmits
real-time position reports via satellite to any authorized PC.

view of the location, track, and status of your entire fleet under
any circumstances — whether you are coordinating the ulcer-inducing
ballet of matching VIPs to corporate jets, directing your fish-finder
helicopters over any ocean, keeping aerial supply missions safely
routed into famine-suffering regions, or supporting a solo pilot's
world record attempt to circumnavigate the earth via the North
and South poles in a single-engine airplane!
Sky Connect has partnered with FLIGHT EXPLORER to bring unprecedented
flight-following capabilities to the desktops of any company.
Now any aircraft flying under IFR or VFR conditions anywhere in
the world can be visible to dispatchers, FBOs, and other fleet
operators using the unique capabilities of Flight Explorer Professional®
software. The sophisticated event and status notification functions
of Flight Explorer Professional® can now work for aircraft
flying VFR in the same manner as aircraft flying IFR.
Each TRACKER report from the aircraft includes flight details
that generate Flight Explorer alerts for status changes in course,
altitude, destination, and ETA. Manual and event based reports
can generate one or more of the following:
email message
pager notification
cell phone voice or text message
spoken audio alert on the PC's speaker
pop-up box on Flight Explorer
Flight monitoring can be done from multiple locations simultaneously.
The dispatch center, a flight operations manager, and the company
CEO can all receive full or filtered real-time flight status data
of a company's fleet. Flight tracks are recordable for subsequent
review and debriefing.
Sky Connect TRACKER can be installed along with any of Icarus'
Iridium telephone systems, including Sky Connect EXECUTIVE, Sky
Connect FLIGHTDECK, and Sky Connect CLASSIC. The tracking and
voice modules share an Iridium transceiver and antenna.
The fully certified Sky Connect TRACKER equipment is easy to
install and adds about six pounds to the aircraft. A small Iridium
patch-style antenna is mounted atop the airframe. In aircraft
that are not configured to send GPS data to the TRACKER transceiver,
there is a dual element antenna that includes a GPS antenna for
the TRACKER's own on-board GPS receiver. The TRACKER transceiver
weighs about 5lbs and can be mounted in any avionics-safe location.
For two-way messaging, system monitoring, and MAYDAY functions,
small additional panel mounted
components are necessary.
