EXECUTIVE
The Sky Connect EXECUTIVE cordless satellite telephone system
allows maximum flexibility for cabin class aircraft. The system
utilizes an Iridium transceiver permanently installed in the aircraft
along with a base station for the cordless handsets. Worldwide
coverage using the Iridium satellite network means no dead zones,
handoff issues or dropped calls. No matter where in the world
you are you will have continous coverage at very affordable rates.
With Sky Connect EXECUTIVE handset you are free to roam about
the cabin. Any seat in the aircraft can now be used to make phone
calls, including in the cockpit.
The handsets can be used as an intercom for communication between
the cockpit and cabin. In addition, the cordless handsets can
be used up to 300 feet from the aircraft, allowing use on the
ground. The lightweight cordless handsets provide 10 hours of
continuous talk time, with 150 hours of standby time. When the
handsets are not in use, they stow in flush mount recharging cradles.
Sky Connect TRACKER may be added to the EXECUTIVE telephone system
to provide real time aircraft tracking and messaging.
