MST 120 NT Satellite TV - Internet- Inmarsat R-BGAN and Thuraya
DSL Antenna
SATELLITE
TV: The MST 120 NT is the ideal size. With a true 120 cm
diameter radome and a 120 cm Dish, this antenna assures a
real wide coverage with the best performance.
Up to 10 satellite receivers either analogic or digital can be
connected to the antenna where any channel available in the selected
satellite can be viewed. The antenna is recommended for vessels
over 40 meters in length,
This
antenna can also be used, by requiring the specific option, with
Inmarsat BGAN, RBGAN and Thuraya DSL satellite modems.
Supplied
with: Controlled gyro-compass (inside the radome), 10m or 15m
cable kit, satellite control kit, with remote control, manual.
INTERNET: Accessing Internet is already a reality. The
satellite certainly represents the ideal means for communicating
through Internet, the only system able to fully take advantage
of features and potential of this extraordinary global information
instrument. You can now download images and data at a speed of
over 2MBps. In addition to the PC, you need an Internet card that
transforms your PC into a digital TV Sat so it can also receive
all of the satellites television programmes.
InmarsatBGAN,
R-BGAN
and Thuraya DSL: the antenna can also be connected with
the BGAN, R-BGAN or Thuraya DSL satellite modems. The use of a
fully stabilized maritime antenna opens great opportunities for
the mariners that want high speed, but do not want to install
expensive solutions, such as those offered by the Fleet series
of sat phones.
The
combined use of a BGAN/R-BGAN Inmarsat or Thuraya DSL satellite
modems and of the 48MST antenna allows connections of up to 432/456
in the huge area covered by the new Inmarsat I-4 satellites or
in the regional area covered by Thuraya (144K).
R-BGAN offers twice as much bandwidth as compared to Fleet 77,
and also allows a good opportunity for VoIP solutions. BGAN offers
speed 1000% faster than Fleet.
Important:
on all steel-made ships/boats/yachts it is necessary
to interface the antenna with onboard gyro-compass with a NMEA
183 (HDT): when purchasing the antenna, this info MUST be advised.
